I didn't spot this until after I posted earlier. But anyway. From that was a reference to the "delicate Angels" from the SSW&C Holiday 07 issue.

IF you are truly a novice then those patterns provide three great skill builders.

First is to cut the outside and ignore the inside. That way you have a siloette (sp?).

When comfortable with that Ignore the outside lines and simply cut the inside lines. Voila instant stencil!!

Finally Cut the entire inside and outside to achieve the delicate ornament.

I know it wasn't valentines day, but I hope it helped.
