Default blade I should use

Hello all, and thank you all who replyed to my last message..I have set up the blanks and nailed them..and used a small dremmel cut off saw to chop the nails and smooth them out ..however I am going to cut 5/8 thickness stacked , can anyone give me some advice on what kind of blade to use? I have pinned and plain end, thanks Chipper

Depending on detail, I would use a #3 or a #5 flat blade with reverse teeth on the bottom. I am thinking wood in the range of red oak in hardness. Dale

I have always used #3 on stack cuts with to trouble.

I use sprials , sharp blades help. hehehlol

Chipper:

Experiment with a Skip-Tooth design blade if you can. The Skip-Tooth design will allow more wood chip removal for 5/8 stack cut.
