I took 8 patterns down to Office Max and had them scan them to my thumb drive yesterday. He loaded it as 1 file with 8 pages. Came home and downloaded the RapidResizer trial. When I opened it it said it couldn't do PDF files but showed how to . I followed the directions and enlarged the first pattern that came up without difficulty. Problem is, the only one I can do is the first pattern. Everytime I scroll down and copy another page it only pastes the first on the file. How can I "un" PDF the file and make it seperate pics and not just 1 file with 8 pages? I don't know much of anything about PDF documents and/or files. I want to change the pics to JPG or anything else. My Gimp program won't even open the file that has the pics on them. Can anybody give me some help? I can't wait to enlarge a few patterns and get to work Monday but I'm stuck.

There is a program called PDFtoJPG and it works great but it is expensive. I have used the trial version. The problem with the unregistered version is that you have lettering on the final outcome but it gives you an idea. Diane

Is any scanned pattern I get going to be in PDF? I just mainly ant to seperate them from 1 file with 8 pages to 8 files if need be. The resizer won't copy/paste individual pages but seems to only paste the first page.

I open the Adobe file in the Acrobat viewer, take it to whichever page I want to select, then go to Edit - Copy file to clipboard. Next, I fire up MS Paint (the program is usually supplied with new computers) and go to Edit - Paste. This prints the selected acrobat page into Paint and the image can then be saved in one of several common graphics formats. Gill
