Steve,
I think the most important thing is not to stop when cutting a circle. If you don't continue the cut the blade will catch up and cause a straight part in your circle. With practice you will be pleased with your results. Just remember, what you see others won't.
By the way, how you doing on those V's?

Gill and Canadian Scroller have similar items like I have. The pin is actually a screw that I ground down into a point. it can be taken out and moved to a different hole for size changes. I drilled the platform of my saw and tapped the holes so I can mount it without movement or a clamp in the way. I use a spiral blade for this jig so the blade doesnt try to wander on you. Slow is the key when cutting with this method.

Smile cutting inside circles

hi squeege
I am going to make my daughter a lazy susan and I will make it round so i will have to finish the outside, as it will be made of small pieces moumted on a panel backing , and i will have to cut a 1/4 inch circle to fit around the outside, have you made a circle like that on your scroll saw, if so do you have a jig to make the inside corcle perfictly round?
