I had problems getting in also, had to change my password, but everything went OK from then on. Had some problems with my profile, but that was my own ignorance of how things work. There has been a lot of work setting up this site, lot of new features, very impressive. Can't wait to try and figure out the IMG feature.

I couldn't get "in" either -- couldn't register. I was told that my user name was taken and when I tried to change that, was told that my email was taken. I just kept trying and it finally worked. Now I can't get my WebShots address to be "clickable". I'll keep trying that.

Somewhere we need a STICKY THREAD that shows the WebShots address.

Nancy, I went through a number of trials before I got my URL to link. Go to User CP, Then Edit signature, Highlite your URL, Then click on Insert Link,(looks like a globe with a chain under it, BLUE). This worked for me

Thanks Hugh ----- but "Insert Link / globe w/chain" ... not on my PC.
So I tried the [url] brackets. Now I'll see if that works.
I suppose it's not all that important anyhow, huh?

Thumbs up

Hey the main thing is it is working
and we can communicate again

I noticed that the board has seemingly randoml;y changed senior members back to junior members and changed the number of posst they have made
back to 0 and others maintained their senior status and it did not make them start back at 0 on their # of post but kept adding to the.

Oh well that is not a big problem
I will soon have my post # up there again as I have gotten to where I make several comments a day again

Overall I like the look of the new board
I like that I can insert Pictures in a thread
I can add my own avatar from my PC rather than from a pic I have posted on the web somewhere
Hey I guess it is like everything else going to take a lil time to see how all the bells and whistles work

Think I finally figured out my profile thing
Had to go to USER CP at the top and click on all the things in it and get everything changed again

Now if i could just get it to carve and paint for me
I really like being able to add pics to the message I post
like this 1
This is a 200# catfish My other half saw this somewhere on the internet and sent it to me This is 1 huge catfish

Wayne, that is the biggest fish story that I have ever seen. I'm glad that you could show a photo of it, as I wouldn't have believed it if you hadn't LOl great fish.
Nancy, first those items should show up on any PC, you have to be signed in, before they will show up. The USER CP is on the left hand corner of this page. when you click on that look for edit signature. then the rest. I tried the url thing also. just trial and error . When I first got my computer I unplugged it to get it to shut down. Still struggling with the programs, but the challenge is fun.

Default It's MAGIC

I didn't do anything.
Wayne emailed me to tell me how Gene told him how to do it. I logged in to see if I could do it ....... and, magically, it was already done. I'm "clickable".

I have a headache.
