Welcome aboard Herman, I've done a few fish...crappie, trout, bluegill. I enjoy them--just don't do as much carving as I used to do before changing jobs. I hope to remedy that soon. Do you use airbrush to paint? Power to carve? Burn scales or do slicks? DO you do miniatures or real life sized fish? The hardest part of fish carving is the habitat! But I do enjoy it from time to time. Let us see what you've done...we love seeing newcomers' carvings--and oldtimers. I've posted once on the picturetrail, but don't remember the tagline address. Again, we're glad to have you join us. I learn so much from our fellow carvers....some of it I can even tell others about! Donna T |

Welcome Herman, Glad to see new carvers here! You will enjoy this board as the posters are very helpful and friendly. Actually they are brothers and sisters in carving. Make them family for sure. If you have questions, here is the place to find answers.

Hi Herman welcome to the group, even if not everyone on the board carves fish, the people here are a fountain of information, and they are very willing to share. so if you have questions just post away,if they don't have a direct answer for you very often they can direct to a sight that does. |
