Default Need help to buy present

I am would like to buy my boyfriend a wood carving “start pack” for Christmas, but I do not know anything about the subject. Could you recommend tools, books and some wood I could get him and where I can get it, either internet or London?
Thank you very much :

You should contact Rick at Little Shavers..he will tell you what to start with and make up a kit for you...good people to deal with!

My dear 'Girlfriend',

Tell that lad to marry you immediately, and not let you get away!

It isn't often a young lady displays encouragement in their boyfriends interests, and you are to commended on such a generous nature! If you inspire him, you may be surprised at what he may learn to create.

Well done, and good luck. Rick will stear you straight.

Bob

Being in London I'm sure you could find a dealer of Marples carving tools. They are among the finest made and have a large following here in the states. Marples chisels and gouges are made by Record Ridgeway Tools Sheffield, England.

Hope this helps!
