OK I have been stropping my knife on a piece of leather and the rouge has it cloged up. Is this normal and OK or do I need to clean the leather off? If so How? Thanks

You don't have to clean it off, but on the other hand you shouldn't need to keep adding compound very often. If you do want to clean it, just scrape it with the back of you blade, a piece of sheet metal, old file, etc. Al |

The instructions for Yellowstone Gold say that it's at its best when it turns black and gets a little sticky. Don't worry too mucha bout the build-up. If it works, leave it alone.
