Also if you look in your yellow pages, there are people that offer the service of sharpening and welding saw blades. Busy Bee Tools in Canada, offer blades also. | |

| Re: Looking for Bandsaw blades I buy wolf brand blades by http://suffolkmachinery.com *they are great blades, will make any size and the price if very reasonable. My saw cut smoother and quieter as soon as I took the factory blade off and put on the wolf blade..imho  |

| Re: Looking for Bandsaw blades I think you have to silver solder them together as a weld might get the metal too hot and take the temper out of them. You can buy kits to do the weld but I am not sure what company. I use an 1/8' blade and just throw it away after it breaks. I hate that because sometimes it is early in the blades life.

| Re: Looking for Bandsaw blades Suffolk Machinery located in N.Y. state makes the best band saw blades there are PERIOD!!! under the Timber Wolf name, guaranteed not to break at the weld....they will send you a book with your order that tells you how to adjust your saw to the correct tension.....check them out. |
