Default Old or Unwanted tools

Just read through some of the posts here and saw where
some carvers were unhappy with some of their tools and had given them away.
Well I thought I would add my 2 cents worth. If anyone has tools that they no longer want or need or use and wish to give them away, email me and I will gladly take them off your hands for free of course. I will even pay the postage. Can be any brand tool, knife, gouge, sharp or dull.

Shucks, and I thought that's what carving clubs were for. A repository for unwanted tools and books.

I'm with you Ed thats where all unwanted tools and books should end up. It is nice when you get a new member that you can lend some tools that nobody minds if they get damaged.

Very true
I was in a carving club up untill I moved in Feb of this year.
Now the closest club is 70 miles away. Have tried to form a club hear in the trinity texas area but no one seems interested.
Wish there was a club close by.

70 miles, that's walkin' distance. Huntsville can't be that far off ... it's pretty big, ought to be able to stir up some interest there. You could get something started in the prison I bet!
