Default NEW TOYS

I just got open my latest shipment from Little Shavers, I was asking Rick about my sharpening problems. He suggested my trying the slip strop, with the yellow compound. It works great much better than what I was using. . I am trying to get a dollhouse finished before Christmas, and todays project was a full side chimney going from floor to roof.four inches wide and twenty seven inches high.
I was going to use my Dremel with it's router base to outline the bricks, a lot of work, with using a straight edge and all. So I dug a little further into the box I got from Little Shavers,
(This sounds like a commercial) and tried the vtool I just got, sharp right out of the box. It cut the entire brick lines, without dulling, and I was carving a pine 1x4. Thanks Rick.

This was an unsolicted plug.

Well I have to throw my 2 cents in as well. Looked through the new catolog and have to say that the beginners kit is a great deal. Now there is a good christmas idea for those kids and grand kids you want to interest in carving. Of course you will have to include a certificate for free carving lessons from dad/grandpa.
