Plaine_ol_Ed,
I sure thank you for making a note of that. I've been waiting for the chance to get an 'issue one' for quite a while. I guess I'll have to get my pennies counted and ready.

I would like to have all the issues myself, but they get crazy with the prices ??? And lets face it, most magazines end up being tossed someday :

It's easy, think about it! If I were to die tomorrow, who would want them? No one in my family carves! There is always a multitude to things to do and go thru and the last thing anyone is going to be thinking about is magazines!! So like I said , they end up in the trash...in the bible it says, save up your treasures in heaven where moth can't eat....guess that says it all about our earthly 'collections'!!

I meant that a little tongue in cheek

I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't comment on that !

Plain_ol_Ed, Dave. and Bob.

I bought the issue #1 in the eBay auction. It ended up at $31.00 plus $5 and change for shipping. I know that is a lot of money for a single out of print issue. Bottom line, I just wanted all of the issues. The magazine has helped me a lot in my carving pursuits.

Actually, the auction ended after midnight last night. That is terribly past my bedtime. So, I put a bid in and went to bed. Plain_ol_Ed, I thank you for putting this message on the board so I could bid on it.

And I was grumbling when I paid $5.95 for it at the corner store!
