Ha! You think you guys suffer from slow delivery? I usually get my copy six weeks after everyone else provided all goes well. If you're having problems, it doesn't bode well for me .

Yet strangely enough, British subscribers to FWW often receive their copies before American subscribers! Go figure...

I just subscribed, Bob in fact confirmed I was subscribed untill 2008.

But I haven't received my copy yet, and my wife wanting to please me said today: " I bought you a magazine, for your new saw. You'll like it, and you don't have it"

Yea you guessed it: SSW it was. Now she looked through it and says : "Did you see the really, REALLY nice lamps they have in there?"

Yea very subtle

But I'm a little ticked to be a subscriber to a magazine, that it gets on newstands before getting to it's subscribers, and that I don't have my copy yet.

C'mon Chapel Fox, I paid up front and am loyal for the next two years: how about showing me some consideration in return?

Well Marcel I can really empathize with you here.

I too am a subscriber and it is slow but it will come
I was sent a parcel from the States and it took 2 weeks to get to me.

My consolation is that it is not in the newstands yet.
If it was I would be tempted to buy that copy too.

Then I would have to give one of them away

Default Newsstand vs. subscriber copies

Hi guys,

That's a complaint that we have heard before - about the issue being on newsstands before subscribers get their copies. According to my production schedule - the last issue mailed to subscribers on March 28th and isn't supposed to be on newsstands until April 18th. In a perfect world that gives subscribers enough time to get their issues before the general public. Yes, I know the postal system isn't always what we want it to be.... but my uncle was a postal worker and I have several other relatives in the industry so I stand behind them - plus we don't want to get on their bad side or we'll never get our issues to our loyal readers!

Hang in there guys - we can't send replacement issues until 6 weeks from the date of shipment. Let me know what you think of the issue when you do get it!

I found a copy at the bookstore last week, and bought it. Pretty good issue. I especially enjoy seeing contributions from friends here on the message board. When (If) my subscription copy comes, I will have a spare to share with somebody here who is less enlightened than I (Doesn't yet subscribe).

Default Issue 23

Well I got a nice package today sent on Apr 3

Issue 23 is wonderful, the pages are packed, the layout is easy to view and navigate.
The pull out patterns are on really good paper and should be easy to photocopy.

I am very pleased to see the younger scrollers taking part.

There are lots of projects to do, more than enough to last me till the next issue comes out.

I like the articles on pattern design. I know for the longest time I would never consider designing a pattern. I hope these articles inspire people to pursue this branch of the scrolling hobby.

I look forward to the new changes, although I am still partial to Scroll Saw Workshop as a title, I do see the benefits of the new masthead.

Once those newstand sales are up I can expect more issues a year?????

Keep up the great work guys!

Default SSW magazine

Hi. I got my magazine today and found the fox right away. He seemed to leap out at me. I hope they don't change the format too much with the new name change. I am more interested in the scroll saw aspect than the straight crafting. If I want a craft magazine, I will subscribe to a craft magazine, not a scroll saw one. I do enjoy the information and the patterns and ideas in the present format. I wonder why it takes so much longer for the magazine to reach some addresses than others. I, too, am in Canada, in fact Atlantic Canada, and seem to get the magazine much later than the rest of the world. Oh well, I guess as they say, "patience is a virtue" and it is well worth the wait. I read it from cover to cover at least twice before I choose a project to work on.

Default My subscription.

Well I know I posted that I got magazines last week but my subscription did come in the mail today, in pristine condition.

I did find the fox last week. Sly little vixen that she is.

Casey I am sure yours will arrive soon.
I don't think there are any homeland security issues with the projects inside the magazine
