why is western red alder used more in scroll work. Alder is know as wood with thousand faces.

Hi Bob, welcome to the forum, I am just a little confused on the Alder is known as the wood with a thousand faces thing. I use all kinds of wood for scrollsaw work.

Gary, you were my inspiration to start scrolling. I use Ulead PhotoImpact 4.2. This also is an old program
