Default wood/sanders

Carole or fellow woodworkers, Can you recommend places to get wood, purpleheart, yellowrheart etc, and sanders, the flex sander mainly.

Scott, for hardwoods, especially nice thin pieces, check out ocoochhardwoods and Sloan's. For the flex sander, check out Klingspor's woodworking, and enter flexi-pad into the search box. Can't write more now, but let me know if you need more info.

Lately the best prices I've been getting have been on eBay. I recently bought bloodwood, yellowheart, canary wood, purple heart, and black cherry. It took some searching around the auctions, but I got most of it cheaper than I could buy plain red oak at Home Depot.
