I've been scrolling for just over a year and a half.No boasting but I'm proud of my progress.I think I ready to try other techniques such as inlay. Can anyone give me some tips or a web site i can visit to get more help on this subject.

The Fall 2009 #36 issue of Scrollsaw Woodworking and Crafts has a wonderful article by James Collins on Personalized Sports Plaques - page 70. I'm going to try it myself one of these days.

theres quite a bit of info on many other aspects of scrolling than simply cutting shapes out. And, as for inlay, theres a lot of great info on this message board about that as well!!! This site has everything you need to guide you forward!

As Rob said, follow up on issues #34 and #36. I put my best foot forward in these articles, and I think if you do some of the more simple projects, you might find yet another avenue for scrolling. If you need to do some simple shapes to get yourself more familiar with the technique, I think you'll find that it's not as intimidating as it seems. As Yoda said, "Try not. There is only do". Lol.
