where is the best place to buy slab wood (tree slice) i have seen them at craft stores (basswood) thanx wally wood |

You can find basswood slices at wally world (walmart) as well, wally wood.....hehehe

Get to know and befriend a tree trimmer, someone who works in your local public works department etcetera. Often times you can get slab wood free if you are not overly picky about species!

get all my slabs at a local saw mill if you get there before they chip them up most saw mill sale there chips to paper mills. but they will give you some if you talk to some one at the mill. lady123 |
