try this web page:

http://stonewood.safeshopper.com/?502 (The product is heavy, UPS charges will be high.)

Corian is a trademark of DuPont, the generic name for the man-made product is Nairoc, which is Corian spelled backwards.

However, if you live in a large metro community, you could always go to a kitchen re-modeling / counter-top workshop and beg for scraps. Double-sink kitchen cut-outs are a lot of material. @ 25.00 per sq ft, a double sink cutout of a Corian counter top is about $50.00 to $60.00 USD at retail price. Fair is Fair, you have something to trade for the cut-outs?

If you wanted to do small chess pieces 1"x1" there are a few p[eople selling corian pen blanks on ebay - such as this one http://cgi.ebay.ca/18-1-CORIAN-solid...QQcmdZViewItem

May be a silly idea but just a thought ...
