Default Realistic bird carving

Hi,
I've posted this question on the bird section but only got a couple of answers so will try it here.

I'm wanting to learn realistic bird (song and anything else) carving this year and am looking for workshops in the midwest--Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and perhaps Ark, Ok, and Illinois. (I'm in Missouri)

I know Bob Guge is probably one of the best but I can't find anything he's doing closer than Wisconsin. *I did find a Bob Monroe eagle class in February in Wichita. *I especially like the long weekend classes as that's when I can get away. *I checked Google and didn't find anything there either. *

Any body in a club or business in these states that's planning to have a bird carving workshop this winter, spring, summer?

Advice welcome, but specifics are sought! *Thanks for the help.

Donna,
Contact Will Hayden at wilcarv@imagina.com
If it has to do with birds, he has or can get the answer.
Just say: Rick told you to bug him.

Did you check the back pages in 'Chip-Chats' & 'Carving World'?

Thanks Guy,
I did check the back of Chip Chats and watch for articles in it too. But I will check the address you (Rick) listed. I sure wish Chip Chats would include address, phone number and email addresses of all the instructors they list with upcoming seminars--sure would make it easier for us to contact them.
Thanks again,
Donna T
