Default Moose carving

I just visited Alaska on a missions trip. Seen 3 moose. Would now like to carve one. Does anyone know where I can get a good set of plans to carve a bull moose?
Thanks

Yup, try:

www.stillerpatterns.com

Look in the catalog section.

They have a good set of just about anything *(critter-wise) that youd like to carve, but they don't have a fisher!

And ain't them Alaska moose IMPRESSIVE!?

David, MDI Woodcarvers Supply has patterns, do you have their catalog? (If not www.mdiwoodcarvers.com or 800-866-5728 to get one.) A bull moose, cow and calf. They are $4.50 each.
For reference you can't beat Doug Lindstrand's books. They aren't carving books but his sketches are perfect. There are moose in his Drawing America's Wildlife and Drawing Mammals (the only two I have..so far!!). Good luck! Callynne

I'm about halfway through the body of a moose carving based on a pattern in Woodcarvers Workbook - Carving Animals by Mary Duke Guldan, Fox Chapel Publishing. The body is cherry, the rack is oak and the base is a highly textured (natural) slab of walnut.

I would think carving a moose would be mostly roasts and a few steaks..... : (but then..really you wouldn't want to make a moosesteak would you?) :P
