I have a moose shed I would like to carve but have never done any antler carving. I have done some relief but mostly realistic wildlife. Could you point me to a good information source, books, patterns, etc. Thanks for any assistance.
if you go to the W3E carvers exchange, read down and sign up for the 'porch'..its a forum of woodcarvers..and one 'Kathy Krum' carves moose antlers...I bet she would help you with what you need to know!
Sorry to bother you again but I can't locate Kathy. I suspect I don't know the exact address. What is the W3E? Is that part of carving world's web site? If not would appreciate the address. Thanks for your assistance.
try this http://carverscompanion.com/ExchangeHome.html
Once you are on there, sign up for the woodcarvers porch, a bulletin board of carvers and look for the name Cathy Krum, I have no doubt she will help you (sorry it took so long to get back to you)
