David-

I was very impressed on your step by step instructions on how you carved the bee-eater. Did you take classes or study under anyone? You are very talented. Did you go to art school because you seem multi talented. Keep up the good work.

No, I am self taught for the most part. I have, however, learned a lot
from other carvers, in particular, Dan Williams and Riley Monroe.

But I haven't taken any classes or had any formal instuction.
