Default American Goldfinch

This is a Goldfinch that I just finished. The bird was carved from tupelo
wood and painted with acrylics, as was the flower(a Morning Glory). The
vine and leaves were made from brass and capper.

Again, David, I'm too awestruck to have many words. The goldfinch is awesome.

David, Museum quality, I hope you enter shows with your work because they deserve to be recognized. I hope some day to challenge myself to test my ability to try a bird. Great job and very artistic, you've got the whole package right. Coffeeman

Hi David,
What a super carving and the habitat/mounting is done with the same eye for detail that makes your work so neat. Good job...so realistic and well done.
