| Feather and bird pins. Here are some photos of some pins that I have made. They are all under three
inches in length and were carved from tupelo.
Bald Eagle
Blue Jay Feather
Burrowing Owl
Wild Turkey Feather

| Re: Feather and bird pins. Great pins David. I really like the eagle one. Didn't know if very many carvers carved the pins and magnets. Mine are in picturetrails under other stuff about 3 or 4 photos down. Mine are of doves and roses, walnut, oak and bassword. Have several smaller roses carved out of butternut and not painted. If I can get one back from my wife, daughter or MotherIL I'll take a picture and upload it. The Dove is 2x2x1/4' and the rose is a little under 3 '. The butternut roses are about 1'
I have several family members who collect humming birds so may attempt one. Thanks for sharing and you gave me an Idea for one. Thanks

| These are beautiful! VERY NICE! This is a dumb question, but how do you do these, is it mostly just a very small v-tool you use? |

| Re: Feather and bird pins. I carve them using power tools. The feather detail is put in with either
a woodburner or with a small grinding stone in a power carver.
