Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts: Join the 10th Anniversary Celebration Join the 10th Anniversary Celebration ================================================================================ Shannon on 06/28/2010 01:24:00 It’s been ten years since our premiere issue rolled off the presses and you’re invited to join the celebration! To start things off with a bang, we entered the names of every single subscriber who was with us from issue #1 in a drawing for a complete scroll saw library from our parent company, Fox Chapel Publishing. We’re thrilled to announce Michael Rodgers of Berlin, Md., is the lucky winner. When I called to inform Michael, he mentioned he has completed many projects from the magazine. I hope he’s stocked up on wood because we’re sending out dozens of books valued at more than $1,000! Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts originated as Home Workshop News, a bi-monthly 28-page newsletter published between 1996 and 2000. But that newsletter was by no means a humble beginning. In fact, Patrick Spielman was the editor and he left some mighty big shoes to fill. From that very first issue in Fall 2000, we worked diligently to continue providing the top-quality scroll saw patterns and innovative new techniques Home Workshop News readers had grown to expect. During the past ten years, the magazine has continued to evolve, due in large part to feedback from the readers. To show our appreciation, we’re kicking off a full year’s worth of contests and prizes. Visit our 10th Anniversary page for the latest details and sign up for our e-mail newsletter so you don’t miss a single chance to win valuable prizes! Our first contest starts today! Log on to the website and tell us the top ten reasons you love scrolling and Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts magazine. Winners will be announced in the holiday issue and we’ll introduce an exciting new way for you to share in the year-long 10th Anniversary Celebration! Shannon Flowers Shannon@FoxChapelPublishing.com
