I'm only guessing but I don't believe too many folks will vote who have dialup....There are some awesome projects this year. Nice job all who submitted a project. Good luck to everyone. Edited to say the slowness has been taken care of. Thanks team!

I agree with you Mike. I have DSL & I'm still working on my votes. Dialup would take a while. So far there has been some great project. For those who submitted a project - Wonderful Job!!!!

I thought this was fixed last year, but maybe not: Is there a good way to view the projects again after we've voted? I went back to look again and it turns me away. --Rob

Elaborating on "good way", is there a way that doesn't involve re-voting? I suppose I could do that and skip the submit stage.

Good luck for everone... very nice entries. But I do not submit yet my vote... But who can vote... only people from our forum? Also, why we cannot have all the entries on one page to see them but not for the vote... only to see entries.

Another question... Is somebody know the total number of entries this year?

Hi Gang, Shutting this thread down for a bit. I had a death in the family yesterday and the survey accidentally went live before I was finished with it. If you've already voted, you will need to go back in and vote again (when I make the survey live). I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. Best Regards, Bob Duncan Technical Editor

The voting is live and we need your help to choose this year's people's choice winners! If you voted before Friday, April 15 - please visit the link and vote again. We had some entries in the wrong categories and the voting page went live prematurely. All should be fixed now. We only had one entry in the compound category - so we moved that entry to the general woodworking category. There are some fantastic entries in this year's contest - so be sure to vote for your favorites! Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts - Vote Now! 2011 Best Design Contest

I just tried to vote again since I voted on the day the first posting was made. I'm being refused because I have already voted. Does this mean my vote is being counted, or is there an error? Jan

Hi Jan, Please try again now. Bob

That was much faster. Thanks for the update. So many excellent projects. This was difficult to decide on.

I'm not sure why the survey is doing that, but if you get the error message that you've already voted, feel free to PM me with your selections and I'll make sure they are added to the final vote. Best Regards, Bob Duncan Technical Editor

Wow - I just voted. Beautiful projects. Thanks for everyone who submitted. It was soooooo hard to pick winners. I almost feel like giving up my saw - the workmanship was so wonderful and I'll never get close. I need to practice a LOT more!! All the projects were winners!!

Im not sure I if I need to vote again or not. I voted on the 15th (when I received the email). So is that the day it was correct or the last day it was wrong?

If you voted after you got the email - you are good. Thanks!

Didn't get an email . When was it sent out ? I have had lots of computer virus problems having to shut down for days.Hopefully it is sorted out now . I did vote with no problems other than having to decide which ones out of all the well done entries to vote for . Nicely done guys and good luck . Roger

Fantastic entries. I hope most of these make it in the magazine throughout the year, regardless if they win. Wanted to choose 3 or 4 in most categories, mbut could not.

Bob and Shannon... Please, would you give the results of the best design contest in the website?

Dear Simon, I'm working on it. Unfortunately, the deadline for our sister magazine coincides with the release of this magazine, so I've had to split my time between Web and print. I promise to get it up ASAP. I see some people are getting their issues now; we never want to announce things like this online until after subscribers start to get their issues. Best Regards, Bob Duncan Technical Editor
