Rick Parsons is a self-taught artist who lives in the Pacific Northwest. His work reflects themes influence by his surroundings:wildlife, nautical, and Native American designs. From these inspiratieon, he created a variety of handmade gift items that have been sold throughout the United States and around the globe. Though his main interest is in pyrography--using a hot iron to burn designs into leather or wood--he has recently begun creating scroll saw patterns.
